Route across San Jos
So I'll be staying about at the Junction of Highway 17 and 280 in San Jose tonight, and want to ride Mt. Hamilton in the morning. Anyone on here have some knowledge to drop about what roads I should take across town? I could ask Google, but I'm hoping someone on here might have better reccomendations. Thanks!

I rode to Mt Hamilton from the Caltrain station a couple of weeks ago, and it was pretty easy. You're shooting for highway 130, which is basically E Santa Clara St in town. It looks like this becomes The Alameda on the west side of 87 where you will be, and you could probably get to that pretty easily. I'm sure there are streets that are more bike friendly, but I found that on a Sat morning, it wasn't bad, and takes you exactly where you want to go. Have a great ride.
