Lion of Fairfax - Sat 10/16
Let the Cross season begin!
Because the Bay Area Superprestige pushed back their opener, Lion of Fairfax will be the first Bay Area race of the season. This is actually a pretty decent race for first-timers since fields will be smaller than at the Superprestige race on Sunday. Try out those skills you learned from Barb at the clinic!
Plus, it's part of Biketoberfest -- so when you're done with your race we can cruise over to downtown Fairfax for be-spandexed beers 'n' brats.

White's Hill Middle School (it's at the base of White's Hill, duh)
10:00am - Men Cat C (30min)
10:45am - Masters Men Cat B (40min)
1:00pm - Women Cat C (40min)
3:00pm - Men Cat B (45min)

Hup Mission Hup!
Yeah, Mission Cycling pretty much kicked ass in the Cat C race at Lion of Fairfax on Saturday, especially considering the way bigger than expected 76 racer field.
Greg, Youenn and I finished in the top-10. Nathan would have made it four top-10 finishers if not for an unfortunate flat. Zach got a top-20 finish, made more impressive by the fact that he raced again on Sunday. Bernards took the brunt of the large field by getting caught up by others, but made the best of a tricky course.
